Unscathed RNG Elemental Luck and Skill Tree

Spend skill points in the right Luck branch so your next biome window actually moves the denominator.

Elemental Luck and Skill Tree

The Luck branch of the Unscathed RNG skill tree splits into seven elemental sub-branches after a few base nodes. Those sub-branches are where the rare-aura denominator lives. Players who max global Luck without touching Elemental Luck end up with a bag full of Punch and one full kit. Players who pick one elemental branch and commit move the denominator for a specific family for the rest of their account. This page is the order of operations and the per-element trade-off. The full tree plan lives on the skill tree build page.

Elemental Luck was added during the late-August update wave. Before the patch, the Luck branch was global only. After the patch, there is a base Luck cluster, an Elemental Fortune multi-element node, and then seven per-element Luck sub-branches. Basic was added as an eighth branch with the Cyber biome update.

The base Luck cluster

Buy these nodes first, in roughly this order:

  1. Base Luck (small flat bonus to all aura rolls).
  2. Bonus roll chance (more rolls per session at the same potion spend).
  3. Roll Speed (faster animation so a 1-minute Lucky Potion is more attempts).
  4. Elemental Fortune (a multi-element node that boosts all seven elements at once).

These four are the floor. Every player should buy them before touching the per-element branches. The first three apply to every roll you ever make, regardless of biome. Elemental Fortune is the bridge into the per-element branches.

The seven per-element branches

After Elemental Fortune, the Luck tree splits into seven per-element sub-branches. The week-three update added Basic as an eighth branch with the Cyber biome.

BranchBest biome targetRealistic farm target
FireInfernoFlame, Ashling, Pyrestorm, Blazewarden
WaterMonsoonAqua, Tidal Crest, Abyssfury

LightEdenAscend, Luminara, Seraph’s Judgement
NightNight (5 min)Soulbound, Nocturnal, Falling Crescent
DemonRaptureFallen, Infernal Surge, Hell King’s Decree
BasicCyberBrushed, Cupid, Shogun’s Wrath, Cloudstride Veil

Each branch is roughly the same cost in skill points. The choice between them is a question of which biome you can actually catch. A player who only sees Eden and Inferno because of their server should buy Fire and Light first. A player who is online during the rotation’s quieter hours should pick the branch that matches the most common window.

What to skip

Do not buy every elemental branch. The cost is real and the returns diminish. Players who spread their points across all seven end up with seven half-built branches and no full kit. Pick one or two branches, max them, and revisit after you own a full kit from those elements. The full kit math sits on the tier list.

Do not buy Blacksmith or Alchemist before you can actually craft the gear or brew the potion the nodes feed. Those nodes are powerful once you have the bench unlocked, and idle before that. The crafting guide lists the bench unlock order.

Do not buy Attack or Defense before you can clear a story act with a full-kit aura. Attack and Defense are fight nodes. They do not roll Punch auras into rare auras. They keep you alive in a boss fight you would have lost otherwise.

The order in one paragraph

Buy base Luck cluster → buy Roll Speed → buy just enough Attack or Defense to clear the act you are stuck on → pick one elemental branch and max it → buy Elemental Fortune once you commit → revisit Blacksmith and Alchemist after the bench unlocks → never buy a branch you cannot match to a real biome window.

How to know the branch worked

A working elemental branch moves your effective denominator on the matching aura list row. If you bought Fire nodes and your Inferno pulls are still mostly Spark and Brushed, either the Luck layer is not stacking with the biome bonus (gem swap issue) or you are not actually catching Inferno windows (sky-watching issue). The luck planner is the checklist.

A broken branch looks the same as a global-Luck build — your bag fills but no S-tier appears. The fix is usually a gem swap, not a refund. Trust the biomes page sky tag before assuming the nodes are wrong.

Elemental Luck and the rest of the wiki

Elemental Luck feeds the rare aura guide. It sits next to the skill tree build as a deeper dive. It does not replace the Biomes page or the aura list. Use the four together: pick an element on the skill tree, wait for the matching biome, equip the matching gem, drink the matching potion, and roll. That is the loop.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after a long rolling session.

How many elemental Luck branches should I buy?

One or two. Maxing a single branch moves the denominator for that element more than spreading points across all seven branches.

When was Basic added to the Luck tree?

In the late-August update wave with the Cyber biome. Basic is now an eighth elemental sub-branch with Cloudstride Veil and Shogun’s Wrath as farm targets.

Does Elemental Fortune replace per-element nodes?

No. Elemental Fortune is a small multi-element bonus. The per-element branches are the large bonuses. Buy Elemental Fortune first as a bridge, then commit to one or two branches.

Should I refund points if I picked the wrong branch?

Only if the live client offers a refund. Some patches add a Reset Skill Points dev product for Robux. If the client does not refund, treat every point as sticky and pick one branch carefully.
