Unscathed RNG NPCs and Shops

Who to talk to when the roll pad is not the only thing in the hub.

NPCs and Shops

Most Unscathed RNG players never leave the roll button. Then they wonder where Fate Potions, Shards, and expeditions live. This page is the NPC list from launch guides. Biome luck is on biomes. The first-hour order is getting started.

The table

NeedWhere to go
First rolls and world introTraveler
Combat tutorial and starter auraSensei
Fate, Destiny, Element potionsDark Arts Merchant, right of the waterfall, low spawn chance on a long timer
Badlands / expeditionsTraveler at the bottom of the dojo stairs
Cloth and brass metal ringsInnkeeper behind the quest board
Luck gauntletsBlacksmith bench — see Blacksmith gear
Brewed potionsAlchemist, once that craft loop is unlocked
Shard spends, gems, traitsNPC near the battle teleporter
Apples and Lucky CoinsRandom ground spawns

The merchant is the one people server-hop for. Ten percent every thirty minutes is the number early guides use. If the waterfall is empty, hop only when you are not on a Lucky Potion clock. The potions page explains why that clock matters.

Tutorial voices

The Traveler starts the roll loop. The Sensei starts the fight loop and hands you a starter aura you will replace. Do not argue with either NPC about the tier list. Finish the prompts so the left cog and the roll button exist. Controls covers the HUD they unlock.

Shops that look like flavor

The Blacksmith and the Alchemist are the craft voices. Blacksmith wears luck. Alchemist brews the bag. If an overhead name differs in your build, follow the recipe, not the label.

The Innkeeper is materials, not lore. If a craft asks for cloth or brass rings, this is the stop. The shard NPC is the sink for WEEK1 and battle Fragments. Upgrade a Luck gem before you reroll traits forever. The Gem and Trait Master language in guides points at that loop even when the overhead name differs in your build.

Expeditions through the Traveler are how the hub becomes more than a pad. The Badlands are a destination, not a biome tag. You can travel and still be in Normal. Check the sky after you arrive.

Ground trash is not trash

Apples and Lucky Coins are small session toys. Look down while you walk between the waterfall and the dojo. Do not cancel Auto Roll to patrol the floor for five minutes. Pick them up as you pass.

If an NPC is missing, you may be in a lookalike experience. Confirm Unscathed RNG by Happy Goof Games! on the links hub. If the NPC is missing after a patch, check updates before you assume a wiki error.

A walking order that does not waste potions

Do the waterfall check on Normal. Do the Innkeeper and shard NPC on Normal. Do the Traveler stairs when you actually want an expedition, not when a Lucky Potion is live. Then return to the pad before the next elemental window. That order is the difference between a merchant hunt and a wasted minute.

If you are writing a mental map, it is pad, waterfall, quest board, teleporter, dojo stairs. Five stops. After that, you know the hub better than most launch clips.

Talk to people, then roll. The pad is the engine. The NPCs are the fuel lines. If you only remember one walk, remember waterfall then teleporter then pad.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after a long rolling session.

Where is the Dark Arts Merchant in Unscathed RNG?

Right side of the waterfall, with a low spawn chance. Server hop if you are hunting stock and not mid-potion.

Who teaches combat?

The Sensei. The Traveler handles early rolls and later travel talk.

Where do I spend Shards?

At the NPC near the battle teleporter, which feeds gem and trait work.

Can I trade with NPCs for auras?

No. Auras come from rolls. NPCs sell potions, materials, and upgrades.
