Unscathed RNG Potions, Gems, and Traits

What to drink, what to socket, and what to keep off a double-click.

Potions Gems Traits

The bag in Unscathed RNG is where good sessions go to die. Players redeem codes, then drink a Lucky Potion while they walk to the waterfall, gift a Fate Potion with a double-click, and socket a Fire gem on Eden. This page is the inventory manual. The stack logic lives on how to get rare auras. The checklist lives on the luck planner.

Names still drift in early coverage. Fate and Fade get mixed up. Speed and Swift both mean roll rate. If the tooltip disagrees with a table, trust the tooltip.

Potions you will actually use

Lucky Potion is the basic +50% luck minute. Speed or Swift Potions raise roll rate so the minute has more attempts. Fate Potions swing a roll hard, including toward a bad result. Destiny-style potions are the one-roll jackpot in several guides, sometimes quoted around 5,000× for a single attempt. Element potions bias toward a family. Heal potions are for the boss door, not for the roll pad.

Code stacks are mostly Lucky, Speed or Swift, Fate, Cash, and the occasional Shard or Twist of Fate. Drink luck and speed together at the start of a matching biome. Hold Destiny-style clicks until gem, trait, and Auto Roll are already on. Do not drink heals to “feel ready” for a roll.

The Dark Arts Merchant is the paid aisle. It can spawn on the right of the waterfall with a low chance on a long timer. Server hop for the merchant only when you are not on a potion clock. See the NPC page for the other shops.

Gems and traits

Gems are multiplicative stat toys. Luck gems, cash gems, XP gems, and elemental gems all exist in launch writeups. Upgrade them at the Gem and Trait Master with Fragments from battles. Reroll traits with Shards. A useful Luck gem with a mediocre trait beats a perfect trait on a dummy gem you never equipped.

Traits that mention a biome or element are the ones that belong on a farm night. Combat traits belong on the aura you take into a fight. Do not chase a pretty trait while your gem is still rank one. The shard NPC near the battle teleporter is the spend point after WEEK1 or any other Shard drop.

Gifting, empty slots, and clutter

Aura trading is not in the launch build. Potions can be gifted by double-clicking. That is a mobile trap. Put rare potions in a slot you are not mashing. The left-hand equipment slot has been unused in launch notes — leave it empty instead of inventing a quest.

Apples and Lucky Coins on the floor are small luck or session toys. Pick them up while you walk between NPCs, not as a reason to cancel Auto Roll. Auto-sell Common junk so the bag does not freeze a farm. Keep one copy of new auras for the list and for crafting.

If you like numbers more than sentences, open the aura odds helper after you estimate a luck percent. If you like fights more than bags, socket the gem and go to the skill tree. The bag is support. It is not the game.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after a long rolling session.

What does a Lucky Potion do in Unscathed RNG?

Launch guides put it around +50% luck for one minute. Drink it during a matching biome with Auto Roll already on.

Where do I upgrade gems and traits?

At the Gem and Trait Master using Fragments and Shards. The shard NPC near the battle teleporter is the usual spend point.

Can I trade potions?

You can gift a potion by double-clicking it. Auras cannot be traded in the launch build.

Should I use Fate Potions while exploring?

No. Fate swings a roll, including toward a bad result. Use it on a prepared attempt, not on a walk.
